About the Conference
The spring conference regularly attracts well over 100 energy industry executives, policy makers and members of the financial and legal communities. The New York Energy Highway Blueprint and other energy priorities have brought about many action items that will have an impact on the way business is done in New York.
This year's conference will focus on the various upcoming public policy requirements for the energy industry and how to make sense of these sometimes conflicting proposals while maintaining a robust and reliable electric power supply. In addition, the conference will feature a panel discussion, moderated by Yancey Roy of Newsday that will review the possible options for the future of LIPA in response to the Moreland Commission's recommendation that the public power authority be abolished.
