  • The putting contest will take place on the practice putting surface at Saratoga National Golf Course.

  • The distance of the putt will be 50 feet and measured by Saratoga National Golf Course staff.

  • Each participant may use their own putter. Participants must use the supplied golf balls.

  • Each participant in the 2025 IPPNY golf tournament will have two (2) attempts at making a 50-foot putt.

  • If a participant makes their first attempt, they will not make a second attempt.

  • After each participant has completed their two attempts, if only one participant makes the 50-foot putt with their two attempts, that participant will be awarded the prize.

  • If no participants made either of their two putt attempts from 50 feet, the prize will be raffled off during the reception following the tournament.

  • If more than one participant makes the 50-foot putt, the contest will move to a tiebreaker “putt off.”

  • Each participant in the tiebreaker will be given two additional opportunities to putt from 25 feet away from the hole.

  • If a participant makes their first attempt, they will not make a second attempt.

  • If only one of the remaining participants makes the 25-foot putt, that participant will be awarded the prize.

  • If all remaining participants make one of their two attempts or miss them both, each participant will be given an additional two opportunities to putt again from 25 feet away from the hole.

  • Again, if only one of the remaining participants makes the 25-foot putt, that participant will be awarded the prize.

  • If three or more participants are in the tiebreaker, all participants who miss their putt attempts will be eliminated if other participants have made their putts – “knockout” style.

  • All remaining participants who make one of their two attempts or if all participants miss them both, the distance will be moved to 10 feet from the hole.

  • Each participant will alternate putt attempts from the 10-foot distance until only one participant makes the putt in a given round.

  • Each participant will be given the same number of attempts in the tiebreaker rounds. This is not sudden death.

  • If three or more participants compete in this tiebreaker, this will again be a “knockout” style
